October Fun

We had such a fun October! It was spent with lots of fall and Halloween activities! We went to the pumpkin patch, Pumpkin walk, and lots and lots of trick or treating! The kids all dressed up as Vampires this year ( aren't they adorable?) and were so excited to be matching. I found all of they' costumes at Desert Industries ( our local thrift store) for a total of $11! I was blown away! I love thrifting!!
All in all it was a great month! November is here and I'm excited for Thanksgiving and spending more time with my little family!

September Shenanigans

September was a wonderful month! Our sweet Sophia got baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! She was so beautiful and we are so proud of the choice she made. Her dad baptized her and we were surrounded by our family and friends! We also celebrated our sweet daughter McKenna's birthday who passed away in 2007. Then we headed down to Salt lake and visited City Creek and the church history museum! It was a great month for our family!

Our Minnetonka Cave Adventure

So a couple of weeks ago we went on a little day trip to Minnetonka Cave in Idaho. It was such a fun day and we got to spend it with our best friends. The cave is so great and has so much history! It has 444 stairs ( one way) and 444 on the way back out. It is great exercise haha! My legs felt like jelly two days after! We also had to carry our 2 year old the whole time which I definitely wouldn't recommend.  It was a great experience for our kiddos and such a great memory! If you ever have a chance to go, you won't regret it!

Family Day

Today we had an awesome family day! My hubby had the day off so we packed a lunch this morning, packed the kids up and headed out.
First, we went to Hyde Park and went to pick fresh berries! I had no idea that there was a berry farm right where we live. It's beautiful and they not only have black berries and raspberries but they have peaches and grapes too! The kids had a blast picking them and enjoying the sunshine. Olivia was so funny and decided to "pick" dirt lol. Then she got into picking right before we left. It's such a pretty spot and I'm so glad we found it! It was my favorite part of today.

Then we headed to a park in Smithfield and had a picnic lunch and the kids played on the play set.

Then, we went to our local zoo where we got to see the bobcat get fed and show off and the Bald Eagle get fed. The kids and Adam had fun feeding the ducks and one even ate out of his hand ( I had no idea that the ducks were that brave) and it was so much fun watching it. Olivia was brave enough to get close to the ducks and she was thrilled to help feed them.

We finished the day at the splash pad and getting a donut ( I totally forgot to take pictures of the last two activities but hey that's mom life right?)
All in all, it was a great last summer day and such a fun time with my little monkeys!
