One of my favorite things to do is to crochet blankets! I have been crocheting since 2005 and I just love it! Throughout the years I have crocheted bags, dolls, animals, hats, baby blankets and blankets. And my favorite is blankets. I don't have to think about counting, making a pattern, or anything and I can just create. Right now I'm working on a queen size blanket (for a friend) in this beautiful gray and cream color and am using soft blanket yarn from Joanns! I almost don't want to give it away lol. Below you'll find the pattern for this beautiful blanket!
Instructions for a queen size crochet blanket:
Material:
2 colors of Blanket Yarn ( 6 skeins for each color)
Size k hook
Darning needle
Scissors
Pattern:
Make a base chain ( measures 66 inches)
Turn
Hdc across
Turn
Hdc for each row until you reach 80 inches in length.
Alternate the colors as you go along.
