On the way to Sacramento, we stopped at Lake Tahoe for a quick break.
The first stop we made was to the Beautiful Sacramento Temple. We took some pictures and let the kids walk around to stretch their legs. Then we headed to Uncle Bruce's house.
The first day we were there, we went to the Sacramento Capital and went to lunch with Ej and his family, Cousin Jaime and John, and Uncle Rocky and Aunt Norma. Then we went to the Jelly Belly Factory and took a tour. We went with Ej and his family, Uncle Rocky and Aunt Norma, Cousin Jaime, Cousin John and Dominic. We learned a lot about how they make jelly beans and even got free packages of jelly beans.
Then on the second day, we went to the Science museum and aquarium. This was a fun
one to go to. The aquarium is HUGE and had a ton of fish to look at. The kids had fun and got tired out quick. Then we took a driving tour of San Fransico where we stopped at the Gheridilli Square where we got some yummy chocolate and enjoyed eachother's company. We saw Lumbart street (which made Adam happy) and some other great places.
The third day we went to San Fransico again but on the outside. We went to Stintson Beach where it was cold and breezy but sooo much fun and sooo beautiful. The kids loved playing in the sand and walking and running around.
Then on Thanksgiving day, we rested and got ready for the rest of the family to arrive. We met Aunt Pam for the first time and had a great time with everyone.
On the last day we were there, we went to Old Sacramento where we went to the Train Museum where Jacob was in heaven. There were a ton of trains to look at and to go inside of. That was a very fun day and very tiring. Then we headed home the next day where we spent 17 hours in the car and got home as fast as we could. It was such a fun trip and we are so happy that we were able to go and spend the holiday with our family that we don't get to see very often.
We can't wait until the next time we see everyone!
