June and July 2016

June was a great month! We had a lot of fun but the best thing about June was that Sophia lost her first 2 teeth! They were loose for about 2 weeks and finally we took her to the dentist and they came right out! She was so brave. So that night, she wrote a note to the tooth fairy and in the morning she got a note back and $1! She was so excited and couldn't wait to show off her gift!
July so far has been great! I am so excited because we are only one month away from having our sweet Olivia join our family! We also celebrate the 4th of July!!! The kids had so much fun and it was a very relaxing day! We played at the park, did snaps and sparklers, and played in the sprinklers (for over an hour)! The kids loved every minute of it!

The Start of our Summer fun

We have had a successful first week of Summer. This year we are going by a schedule where we do something every day whether it is making a craft or playing outside. So far we have done everything on our list. 
This week,we went to Green River (about 45 min away from Moab) and went and saw a geyser (it wasn't running but it was still fun) and walked around there for a little bit. Then today we went to the new Dinosaur Museum and the kids loved looking at all of the dinosaurs and watching a short movie. I can't wait to see what the rest of Summer brings.

2016 So Far

We have had a great year so far. In January, Jacob became a Sunbeam in church and was so happy to finally be in Primary with his sister,February was pretty low key and we enjoyed the last of winter here in Moab. In March, Jacob turned the big 4!!! He had a great birthday with his friends and we enjoyed watching him turn another year older. At the end of March we celebrated Easter with our awesome family and spent our Spring Break up in Logan with Grandma and Grandpa. This month in May, Sophia graduated from Kindergarten and is excited to go into 1st grade. This year so far has been a great one. We are excited to start our summer and are preparing for baby Olivia to arrive in August!

December Fun!

December was such a fun month. We had fun preparing for Christmas and seeing family. On the 18th we went to Shauna's house for our family Christmas party and enjoyed spending the weekend with them. The kid's loved playing and being around cousins.

We got a early Christmas present and we were sooo thrilled. We found out that we are going to be adding to our family in August 2016. Sophia and Jacob are excited to have another sibling.

The kids loved seeing Santa early in the month and were so good sitting on his lap and not being scared. Sophia wanted a guitar and Jacob wanted a piano and were so excited to find out that Santa brought them those things. We had a great Christmas and are excited to start a new year and see where 2016 takes us!
